Pendleton Woolen Mills engaged DESIGN+BUILD to reimagine their Portland HQ into a space designed to spark creativity and foster collaboration.

Challenge
Pendleton previously had a segmented office layout, which separated their creative teams across different floors and limited opportunities for face-to-face interaction. Their aspiration was to create an inspiring space that encouraged team connectivity and innovation.

Solution
DESIGN+BUILD crafted an open, airy floor plan centered around existing ridge skylights to maximize natural light and create a welcoming environment. The refreshed space features ample wall space for pin-ups, custom storage solutions to elegantly showcase their products, and a subtle material palette that highlights their merchandise. Centralized collaboration areas, equipped with large workstations and versatile tables, provide spaces for brainstorming, team discussions, and creative workshops. The redesigned office now serves as the vibrant, creative hub Pendleton envisioned.
